Factorize each of the following expressions:

Question:

Factorize each of the following expressions:
x3 − y2 + x − x2y2

Solution:

$x^{3}-y^{2}+x-x^{2} y^{2}$

$=\left(x^{3}+x\right)-\left(x^{2} y^{2}+y^{2}\right)$           [Regrouping the expressions]

$=x\left(x^{2}+1\right)-y^{2}\left(x^{2}+1\right)$

$=\left(x-y^{2}\right)\left(x^{2}+1\right)$      $\left[\right.$ Taking $\left(x^{2}+1\right)$ as the common factor $]$
