If n (A × B) = 200 and n(A) = 50, then the number of elements in P(B) is _______ .
Solution:
Given n (A × B) = 200
$n(A)=50$
Since n(A × B) = n(A) n(B)
⇒ 200 = n(A) n(B)
i.e $n(B)=\frac{200}{5}=4$
i.e number of elements of B are 4
i.e number of elements in P(B) = 24
