The domain of the function f(x)

Question:

The domain of the function $f(x)=\sum_{n=1}^{10} \frac{1}{|2 x-n|}$ is ________ .

Solution:

$f(x)=\sum_{n=1}^{10} \frac{1}{|2 x-n|}$

f(x) is not defined if 2x − n = 0 

i. e $x=\frac{n}{2} ; n=1$ to 10

$\therefore$ Domain of $f(x)$ is $\mathbb{R} \sim\left\{\frac{1}{2}, 1, \frac{3}{2}, 2, \frac{5}{2}, 3, \frac{7}{2}, 4, \frac{9}{2}, 5\right\}$
