Solution:

We have:

$100-(x-5)^{2}=(10)^{2}-(x-5)^{2}$

$=\{10+(x-5)\}\{10-(x-5)\}$

$=(10+x-5)(10-x+5)$

$=(5+x)(15-x)$

$\therefore 100-(x-5)^{2}=(5+x)(15-x)$
