The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) – Advanced is an academic test conducted every year in India. It is usually conducted after JEE Main. JEE Advanced  is the second stage of IIT JEE. JEE Advanced Eligibility Criteria

Students who are intending to take the Joint Entrance Examinations (JEE) Advanced 2024 must adhere to the eligibility criteria specified by the examination authority. Those who do not meet the requirements are ineligible to take the exam. Consequently, it is recommended that applicants read the relevant JEE Advanced eligibility criteria thoroughly prior to submitting their application forms in order to avoid any potential conflicts in the future.

JEE Advanced Application Form and Registration Process

JEE Advanced Application Form and other information will be released by the conducting authority soon after JEE Main Results are declared. For the year 2024, the issuing authority of JEE Advanced Exam is IIT Guwahati. The application forms will be made available after the candidates have cleared JEE Main Exams. JEE Advanced Counselling

Candidates are reminded that the examination-conducting Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) are not responsible for the counselling and seat allocation process for JEE Advanced, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is responsible for the remainder of the process. Candidates who are eligible for JEE Advanced must first register with Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Only then will they be eligible to take part in the counselling process, wherein they will have to select their preferred Indian Institutes of Technology and courses. Seat allocation is done taking into account the ranks secured by candidates and their preferences, as well as the availability of available seats. Application form for JEE Advanced 2024 will be made available after the declaration of the results.

JEE Advanced Cutoff Marks

The cut-off marks for the JEE Advanced will be declared along with the results. Cut-off marks for JEE Advanced are the minimum marks that the candidates need to qualify in the counselling procedure conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Students are shortlisted for admissions at IITs on the basis of the cut-off marks and ranks obtained in the examination.
