Solution:
$x^{2}-2 \sqrt{2} x-30$
$=x^{2}-5 \sqrt{2} x+3 \sqrt{2} x-30$
$=x(x-5 \sqrt{2})+3 \sqrt{2}(x-5 \sqrt{2})$
$=(x-5 \sqrt{2})(x+3 \sqrt{2})$
