Solution:
$x^{2}-\sqrt{3} x-6$
$=x^{2}-2 \sqrt{3} x+\sqrt{3} x-6$
$=x(x-2 \sqrt{3})+\sqrt{3}(x-2 \sqrt{3})$
$=(x-2 \sqrt{3})(x+\sqrt{3})$
