Solution:
Given, perimeter of square field $=96 \mathrm{~m}$
$\because$ Perimeter of square $=4 \times$ Side
$\Rightarrow 4 \times($ Side $)=96$
$\Rightarrow \quad$ Side $=24 \mathrm{~m}$
$\therefore$ Area of square field $=(\text { Side })^{2}=(24)^{2}=576 \mathrm{~m}^{2}$
