Solve: 3(5x − 7) − 2(9x − 11) = 4(8x − 13) − 17

Question:

Solve:
3(5x − 7) − 2(9x − 11) = 4(8x − 13) − 17

Solution:

3(5x − 7) − 2(9x − 11) = 4(8x − 13) − 17

$\Rightarrow 15 x-21-18 x+22=32 x-52-17$

$\Rightarrow 15 x-18 x-21+22=32 x-69$

$\Rightarrow-3 x+1=32 x-69$

$\Rightarrow 1+69=32 x+3 x$

$\Rightarrow 70=35 x$

$\Rightarrow 35 x=70 \quad(b y$ transposition $)$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{70}{35}=2$

$\therefore x=2$
