Solve the following

Question:

If $-\frac{3 x}{4} \leq-3$, then $x$ ______________ 4.

Solution:

Given $-\frac{3 x}{4} \leq-3$

i.e. $\quad-3 x \leq-12$

Now, multiplying both sides by $-\frac{1}{3}$,

We get,

$\left(-\frac{1}{3}\right)(-3 x) \geq\left(-\frac{1}{3}\right)(-12)$

i. e. $\quad x \geq 4$
