Solution:
From the question it is given that,
The cost of 19/4 meters of wire is = ₹ 171/2
Then, cost of one meter of wire = (171/2) ÷ (19/4)
= (171/2) × (4/19)
= (9/1) × (2/1)
= 18/1
= ₹ 18
∴The cost of one meter of wire is ₹ 18.
