here n = 4

∴ Sum of 4 arithmetic terms is means between 3 and 23

$4\left(\frac{a+b}{2}\right)$

$=4\left(\frac{3+23}{2}\right)$

$=2(26)$

i.e sum of 4 arithmetic means between 3 and 23 = 52.
