Solution:

(a) −2

$3(t-3)=5(2 t+1)$

$\Rightarrow 3 t-9=10 t+5$

$\Rightarrow 3 t-10 t=9+5$

$\Rightarrow-7 t=14$

$\Rightarrow-t=\frac{14}{7}=2$

$\Rightarrow t=-2$
