Steps to JEE Main Admission:

The first step to JEE Main admission is to appear in the examination conducted by the NTA (National Testing Agency). This is the qualifying examination for Jee Advanced. JoSAA Counseling: Once you have achieved the rank of JEE Advanced, you will be required to take part in the joint seat allocation authority (JSA) counselling. Through JSA, you can choose your preferred institute and courses according to your rank.

Seat allocation: Joint Admission Standard Authentication (JOSAA) will determine the seat allocation on the basis of your rank, your options, and the number of seats available in various institutes and courses. 

Accepting and Reporting : If you have been allotted a seat at the institute, you will have to accept it online. You will have to go through the reporting and verification steps at the institute to confirm your admission.

Verify your documents: Once you have finished the reporting and verified your documents, you will be able to confirm your admission to the institute and begin your academic journey.
