Minimum percentile for NEET
The minimum marks for MBBS in NEET depends on the category of the candidate. For unreserved category candidates, the minimum mark is 50th percentile, for reserved category candidates, it is 40th percentile.
NEET candidates have to achieve the minimum marks in NEET in order to get admission in top medical colleges such as AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research), Puducerry, and JMC Pune. NEET colleges also announce their minimum marks for their MBBS courses.
Candidates who get marks equal to or higher than the minimum marks for NEET in MBBS are only offered seats in their respective courses.

Expected cutoff of NEET 2024
Only candidates who have met the qualifying cut-off for NEET 2024 are eligible to take part in the counselling procedure. After every NEET counselling round, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) releases the seat allocation result. The result of the seat allocation is then used to calculate the NEET Admission cut-off, which is the last rank from which admission is given.
