Question:

$3 x^{3}+2 x^{2}+3 x+2=?$

(a) $(3 x-2)\left(x^{2}-1\right)$

(b) $(3 x-2)\left(x^{2}+1\right)$

(c) $(3 x+2)\left(x^{2}-1\right)$

(d) $(3 x+2)\left(x^{2}+1\right)$

Solution:

(d) $(3 x+2)\left(x^{2}+1\right)$

$3 x^{3}+2 x^{2}+3 x+2=x^{2}(3 x+2)+1(3 x+2)$

$=(3 x+2)\left(x^{2}+1\right)$
