Solution:

(c) Given, $\bar{x}=a+h\left(\frac{\Sigma f_{i} U_{i}}{\Sigma f_{j}}\right)$

Above formula is a step deviation formula.

$u_{i}=\frac{x_{i}-a}{h}$
