Question:

Solve each of the following Cryptarithm:

Solution:

If $\mathrm{A}+\mathrm{B}=8, \mathrm{~A}+\mathrm{B} \geq 9$ is possible only if $\mathrm{A}=\mathrm{B}=9$

But from $7+\mathrm{B}=\mathrm{A}, \mathrm{A}=\mathrm{B}=9$ is impossible

Surely, $\mathrm{A}+\mathrm{B}=8, \mathrm{~A}+\mathrm{B} \leq 9$

So, $\mathrm{A}+7=9$, Surely $\mathrm{A}=2$

$7+\mathrm{B}=\mathrm{A}, 7+\mathrm{B}=2, \mathrm{~B}=5$

So, $\mathrm{A}=2, \mathrm{~B}=5$
