The domain of the function f(x)
Question:

The domain of the function $f(x)=\frac{|x|-2}{|x|-3}$ is _________ .

Solution:

$f(x)=\frac{|x|-2}{|x|-3}$

here f(x) is not define if |x| − 3 = 0

i.e |x| = 3

i.e x = 3 or −3

∴ Domain of f(x) is R –{−3, 3}
