Question:
Two traingles DEF and GHK are such that ∠D = 48∘and ∠H = 57∘ . If △DEF ∼ △GHK, then find the measure of ∠F.
Solution:
If two traingle are similar then the corresponding angles of the two tringles are equal.
Here, △DEF ∼ △GHK
∴∠E = ∠H = 57∘
Now, In △DEF
∠D + ∠E + ∠F = 180∘ (Angle sum property of triangle)
⇒ ∠F = 180∘ − 48∘ − 57∘ = 75∘
