Chemistry Class 12 Board Paper Marking Scheme 2019
This academic year 2019, CBSE had planned to take the exams annually. There will be a total of 35 questions given in the paper. The CBSE board examination paper consists of a total of 5 sections and it has a total of 35 questions. The duration of this board exam is 3 hours long to solve the given question in the paper. CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Question Paper 2019 With Solution - Section Wise analysis
The chemistry question paper 2019 Class 12 has a total of four sections, which is - Section A, Section B, Section C and Section D. All the sections of the question paper are mandatory. Although there are no choices between the sections, there are internal choices available in the questions of the sections.
1. Section A - This section consists of a total of 5 questions which is known as Very Short Answer Type Questions. All the questions in this section consist of one mark each. They cover different types of objective type of questions like questions with a one-word answer, arrange the following in ascending or descending order, yes or no type of questions, explaining the structural difference between two components and stating the definitions. The questions asked in this section were from Question 1 to Question 5.
2. Section B - This section has Short Answers Type Questions having two marks each. There are a total of 7 questions in section B. Internal choices were given in this section in Question 6 and Question 10. However, other questions include writing the balanced equations for the given statements, arranging the following based on the given criteria, stating the laws with properties, answering questions based on the given equation, identifying the elements and compounds in the given paragraph explaining a reaction, writing the chemical formula using the IUPAC nomenclature norms, writing the structural formula of the compound and etc.
3. Section C - Section C is also referred to as Short Answers Type Questions. But each question in this section carries 3 marks for each question. There are a total of 12 questions asked in this section and the section, on the whole, carries 36 marks. Although the entire section is compulsory, there are internal choices available in the section in Question 19, Question 20, Question 21 and Question 24. This section from Question 13 to Question 24.
4. Section D - This section consists of questions from Question 25 to Question 27. Each question contains 5 marks in this section. Internal choices are also available for all three questions. The total marks for this section are 15 marks.
