The Revision series is designed for all JEE & NEET aspirants to provide quick revision of all the chapters of Class 11th & 12th with important key concepts. The revision videos help you make the best use of your limited time left for revision. It is especially time-saving for all students who are going to appear for 12th Board. When you don’t have time to go through chapter notes in detail, learn and revise most important key concepts and formulae here.
Here is the Revision of Chapter magnetic effect of Current with important key concepts.
Biot-Savart law, Magnetic Field due to Current Carrying Wire
Magnetic effect of current means a current flowing in a wire produces magnetic field around it. It was first discovered by oersted. Now there are many applications of this effect such as generators, motors, electric bell etc. In this video we will learn about the Biot Savart Law which describes the magnetic field due to constant electric current and will cover the topics like Magnetic Field due to Straight Finite Current Carrying Wire, Magnetic Field due to Straight Infinite Current Carrying Wire, Magnetic Field Lines due to Straight Current Carrying Wire, Magnetic Field due to a Circular Current Loop with Saransh Gupta Sir.Ampere's Circuital Law, Magnetic Field due to Long Cylinders, Solenoid and Toroid
Magnetic effect of current means a current flowing in a wire produces magnetic field around it. In the previous revision video, we learned about magnetic effect of current in various conductors like finite length wire, infinite length wire, in a loop. Now moving to our next level of learning we will learn about the ampere’s circuital law, magnetic field due to long cylinders, about solenoids and toroid. Let’s understand how much force a charged particle will exert if it moves in a magnetic field, how will the motion of a particle be in a magnetic field with Saransh Gupta Sir.Magnetic Force on a Moving Charged Particle, Motion of Particle in Magnetic Field, Helical Path, Motion of Particle in Combined Electric and Magnetic Field, Cyclotron, Hall Effect
Cyclotron is a machine used to accelerate charged particles or ions to high energies. How magnetic effect of current is useful in making cyclotron? If a particle is moving in the magnetic field and electric field then what will be its motion? Let’s explore many more concepts of magnetic effect of current such as hall effect, helical path, magnetic force on a current carrying wire with Saransh Gupta Sir.Magnetic Force on a Current Carrying Wire, Torque on a Current Loop, Magnetic Dipole, & Moving Coil Galvanometer
There are various objects, which when applied force to, shows motion with some restrictions. Just like the cap of a bottle will turn around its threads. Motions like these are Rotational Motions that use the concept of torque. Without torque, there would be no twists and turns, no spins possible! Wouldn’t life be monotonous that way? Torque offers a rotational motion to an object that would otherwise not be possible. Let’s explore many more concepts of magnetic effect of current in this video such as Magnetic Force on a Current Carrying Wire, Force between Two Parallel and Perpendicular Currents, Torque on a Current Loop, Circular Current Loop as a Magnetic Dipole, Moving Coil galvanometer.Comments
