According to the marking scheme for CBSE Class 12 Core English Syllabus 2023-24, the theory part, including Reading Comprehension, Creative Writing Skills, and Literature, carries 80 marks altogether. The Assessment of Listening and Speaking Skills section carries 20 marks. Both sections combined make up the paper of 100 marks.
