 1.  JEE Main

Engineering entrance test is a national level engineering entrance exam which is managed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to help engineering aspirants get into some of the most prestigious colleges of the country like IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), NIT (National Institute of Technology), and CFTI (Centrally Funded Technical Institute). JEE Main is conducted twice in a year, one is in January and second is in April. The best of the two marks  will be considered for the JEE Advanced. The exam is conducted in online mode known as CBT (Computer based examination) and the students are expected to complete the paper within a time period  of 3 hours. The paper contains  3 subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It contains both MCQs and numerical questions.

 2. JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is conducted for the students who clear the JEE Main and secure a rank within the top 2,50,000. This exam is known  to be one of the most difficult and challenging exams in the country. IIT JEE Advanced is conducted  only time in a year. The examination mode  is CBT (Computer-based test). Candidates are supposed to attempt all the three papers, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. And they will get 3 hours of time to complete the paper. Students lose 1 mark for every wrong answer and 3 marks will be rewarded for every correct answer.

3. About VITEEE

VITEEE - VIT Vellore will release the VITEEE  application form on their official website- vit.ac.in. The VITEEE application form date will be announced very soon. 4. SRMJEE

SRM Institute of Science & Technology conducts SRMJEEE for admissions to BTech courses  offered by its campuses in Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Delhi-NCR and Vadapalani. SRMJEEE 2024 will be held online exam across more than 100 test centers in India. SRM Institute of Science & Technology already has made available the application form for SRMJEEE. 5. BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test )

Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test (BITSAT) is conducted by the most prestigious Birla Institute of Technology. It is an entrance exam that gives  the student a chance to get a seat in the BITS campus across Goa, Hyderabad, and Pilani. It is an online exam where the candidates are expected to answer the questions within the time period of 3 hours. The language  of the exam is English and the total marks is 450. The different sections of the question paper contain Physics, Chemistry, English Proficiency, Logical Reasoning, Mathematics/ Biology. For every right answer, students will be rewarded with +3 marks and a -1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

6. About COMEDK UGET

Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Also known as COMEDK is an entrance exam which is conducted by the state of Karnataka to the admission of engineering and architecture courses. The exam contains a total of 180 questions for 180 marks each question contains 1 mark. Candidates are allowed to attempt Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The time duration of the exam is 3 hours long and the medium of the exam is English.

7. WBJEE

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted by the state of West Bengal for admission to Government and private engineering colleges in West Bengal. WBJEE conducts an offline mode and it is an optical mark recognition sheet (OMR) based examination. This exam has  two papers in total, paper-1 consists of Mathematics and paper-2 includes Physics and Chemistry papers. The total marks awarded for all three papers is 200 (Chemistry, Physics – 50 marks, Mathematics – 100 marks).

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts the MET i.e. Manipal Entrance Test entrance exam to shortlist students for admission in different engineering programmes.  9. MHT CET

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test  MHT CET is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra for admissions to first-year Engineering and Technology programmes (BE/BTech) and Pharmacy courses (BPharma/PharmD) in the state. MHT CET dates regarding the exam and other events will be announced by the exam conducting body soon. Engineering candidates must attempt Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics papers. The time duration of this exam is 1 hour 30 minutes. The exam is conducted in an online mode and the total of marks for each paper is 50. For every correct answer in the Mathematics paper, 2 marks are awarded, and for physics and chemistry, 1 mark is awarded.

10. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET)

Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is conducted the state of Karnataka for admission into professional courses such as B.E and B.Tech in the engineering colleges. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics papers contain 60 marks each. The time duration is 1 hour 20 minutes. There is no negative marking in this exam.

 Marine Engineering Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate (UG) : At the UG level, applicants must have successfully passed their senior secondary examination/12th or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). They must also have scored a minimum 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII. A minimum and a maximum age limit is not determined by the institute.
