$\therefore \quad$ Least count L.C. $=\frac{\text { Pitch }}{\operatorname{CSD}}=\frac{0.5 \mathrm{~mm}}{50}$
$=\frac{1}{100} \mathrm{~mm}=0.01 \mathrm{~mm}=0.001 \mathrm{~cm}$
