IIT Bombay Admission
IIT Bombay is one of the most sought-after engineering colleges for many engineering aspirants. However, there are various ways to get admission in this institute, and we will discuss them below.
Admission in B.Tech courses: The admission in B.Tech courses is based on the scores achieved in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) exam. Candidates must appear for both the JEE Main and the JEE Advanced exams and secure a good score and rank in order to get admission in IIT Bombay. As the seats are limited, students who are selected are often called for counselling. After the selection process, candidates must submit the necessary documents and fees for admission.
Admissions in M.Tech courses: Admissions in M.Tech courses are mainly based on the GATE exam, which is a shortlisting process based on the students' scores in the exam. There is also another round of group discussion or interviews. There is an exception for candidates with an IITB B.Tech. Diploma and a CGPA of 8.0 or higher are exempted from the GATE score requirement.
