IIT Delhi Admission
There are several steps in the admissions process at the IIT Delhi. Most of them are related to undergraduate admissions and postgraduate admissions.
Here is a brief overview of the admissions process for undergraduate admission and postgraduate admission in IIT Delhi.
-
IIT Delhi undergraduate programs are divided into JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the first stage of admission to the IIT Delhi B.Tech programs. It is a national level entrance test conducted by the NTA.
-
If you meet the cutoff criteria in JEE Main, you can appear in the JEE Advanced, which is the second stage in the admission process. The JEE Advanced results will be used by the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) for seat allocation across different IITs.
-
Students will have to register for the JoSAA counseling process and fill in their choice of programs/institutes. Based on their JEE Advanced rank and choices, and availability of seats, they will be allotted a seat in a B.Tech program at the IIT Delhi.
-
Once allocated a seat, students must accept the offer online and pay the required fees and report to the Institute for document verification and other admission procedures.
