Qualify JEE Main: The first thing you need to do is qualify for JEE Main. It's a preliminary test run by the NTA, and you need to score higher than the cut-off score to get into JEE Advanced.

Appear for JEE Advanced: Only the best candidates who have passed JEE Main will be able to take JEE Advanced, which is considered a tougher test and is run by one of the Indian Institutes of Technology on a regular basis.

Score Well in JEE Advanced: If you score well in JEE Advanced, you will be eligible to apply for admission to various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), including IIT-Kharagpur. The higher your JEE Advanced score, the more choices you will have in selecting the IITs and the particular branch you want to pursue.

JoSAA counselling: After declaring your JEE Advanced result, you will have to go through the counselling process of Joint Seat Allocation (JSA). Through JSA, you will be able to choose your preferred IIT and engineering branches according to your JEA Advanced rank and availability of seats.

Participate in JoSAA Counseling: During the Joint Admission Scheme (JoSAA) counseling, you will be given the option to fill in your options of the institutes and branches according to your preference. Seats will be allotted according to your rank and your choices.

Choice Filling and Seat Allotment: If you are allotted a seat at the institute, you will be able to accept it and continue with the admissions process.

Document Verification and Admission: Once you have been allotted a seat, you will have to go to the institute for the document verification and admission formalities. You will have to provide your educational certificates and identity documents, as well as pay the required fees.
