IIT Ropar or any other IIT in India is a highly competitive and rigorous admission process. Here is an overview of the admissions process for undergraduate programs.
B.Tech Admission: To be eligible for admission in B.Tech programs, candidates must appear in the JEE Main (National Testing Agency) conducted by the NTA. Candidates who qualify in JEE Main and attain a high enough rank in JEE Main are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced (JEE Advanced) examination. Based on the score and rank obtained in JEE Advanced, candidates can be admitted to IIT Ropar.
