JEE Advanced 2025

This session IIT Kanpur will administer the JEE Advanced 2025 examination, which has two sessions. The first session of JEE will be JEE Main, which probably takes place in January and April, while JEE Advanced may extend until June or July. JEE Adv will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Candidates who are preparing for the JEE 2025 exam should be aware of the important dates which are mentioned below. The JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be divided into two papers, each exam has subjects such as physics, chemistry, and mathematics.

10+2 passed or appearing candidates and the candidates who will qualify JEE Main 2025 cutoff for the Advanced exam will be eligible to register for the exam. You who will have appeared in the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023 or before, will NOT be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2025, irrespective of the combination of subjects attempted/offered. How to Prepare for JEE Advanced 2025?

  • To prepare for JEE Advanced 2025, it is highly recommended to create a schedule and stick to it. If you are in the 11th class, try to study for at least 8 hours per day and make sure to study daily without any gaps. Remember that 11 lakhs students are preparing for the same exam, so consistency is only key.

  • You must distribute your time equally among all three subjects, as scoring good marks in all of them is necessary for a good rank.

  • It's important to forget about social activities, hanging out with friends, and spending time on video games and social media and try more healthy activities such as yoga.

  • Selecting the right study material is crucial for getting a good rank to get into the top IIT. We have already provided good book recommendations that are important for JEE Advanced on this page, so you can check them for your help.

  • Prepare notes, short points, revision notes, road maps of chemical equations, and formula books and make sure that you do everything that will help you to achieve your goal.

Best Books for JEE Advanced 2025

Check some of the most JEE Advanced recommended books by the toppers of the JEE Advanced:

Book for JEE Advanced 2025 Physics:

  • HC Verma: If you want to excel in physics, it's very important to first understand the theory and then apply it. One of the great books to refer to is HC Verma, which has a variety  of questions to help you understand the concepts better.

  • NCERT: The Class 12 physics NCERT textbook is an excellent additional resource. It is necessary to go through the engaging chapter from Class 11. If at all feasible, it is recommended that you read the full Class 11 NCERT.

  • IE IRODOV: For mechanics, IE IRODOV is a great book for advanced preparation. It might be difficult at first, but with repetition, you can grasp the feel of it. Even if you can't finish all of the questions at once, it's advised to try answering each one at least twice. Some of the issues in this book should be solved for heat, SHM, and optics.

  • Krotov: However, suppose you want to broaden your horizons and aim for full marks in JEE Advanced. In that case, the Krotov book is highly recommended.

Book for JEE Advanced 2025 Chemistry:

  • NCERT: When it comes to studying chemistry, there is nothing like NCERT BOOK.

  • P Bahadur and N Awasthi: P Bahadur's book is a wonderful choice for theoretical topics. Neeraj Kumar's book from Pearson is excellent for solving more difficult questions, although N Awasthi's book is suggested for practice problems.

  • JD Lee: It is recommended that you use the NCERT textbook for inorganic chemistry. JD Lee's book is a useful resource for subjects including metallurgy, salt, chemical bonding, and coordination.

  • Solomon, Sykes, Morriston and LG Vade: Start with the book by Solomon and Sykes and proceed to the book by Morriston and LG Vade for organic chemistry. Prior to tackling the more challenging issues in MS Chauhan's book, don't forget to practice the simpler questions first utilizing modules.

Book for JEE Advanced 2025 Maths:

  • RD Sharma: It is advised to begin studying for IIT-JEE Advanced by reading R.D. Sharma's arbitrary book. On the other hand, avoid wasting time on long proofs that are not necessary and stop answering simple issues.

  • Amit Aggarwal and SK Goyal: Start with the subjective set of Arihant publications by Amit Aggarwal and S K Goyal.

  • A Das Gupta: A. Das Gupta's MCQ book is perfect for this and it will provide different and unique approaches to solving various problems.

  • Arihant publication: Solve the JEE Main and Advanced book by Arihant published the previous year. Rather of skimming the book, it's best to completely review the questions from the previous year.
