The NEET 2025 exam was conducted in pen-and-paper (OMR) mode on May 4, 2025 (Sunday), from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, across 552 centres in India and 14 centres abroad. Unlike earlier years, the 2025 paper used only four numeric codes — 45, 46, 47, and 48 — with no alphanumeric sub-sets.

Yes — on balance, NEET 2025 was considered somewhat tougher than NEET 2024, largely because of a more numerical-heavy Physics section. This is also reflected in the final cutoff, which dropped for every category compared to 2024.
