How much percentage is required in 12th for NEET?

To be eligible for NEET 2024, candidates have to have a minimum passing percentage in their 12th grade. The NEET organising authority has set the minimum aggregate score for Physics, Chemistry and Biology as 50 % for unreserved category, 40 % for OBC/ SC/ ST category, and for PwD category.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2024 – Number of Attempts

In 2018, changes were made in the NEET UG eligibility rules to remove the upper limit for NEET attempts. As a result, there are no upper limits for NEET attempts in 2024. According to NEET eligibility rules, NEET candidates who fulfill the NEET criteria will be able to sit for NEET multiple times.

  • There has been rules set by State Governments, Institutions and the government of india for the NRIs, OCIs and foreign nationals who want to seek admission in Medical/Dental colleges.

  • Certificate from the Indian diplomatic mission in their residence country need to be provided by NRI/OCI candidates.

  • Proof of nationality such as passport pages or a certificate from country’s competent authority need to be uploaded by foreign applicants with their NEET 2024 application.
