Solution:
We have:
$(x+5)^{2}-4(x+5)=(x+5)\{(x+5)-4\}$
$=(x+5)(x+5-4)$
$=(x+5)(x+1)$
$\therefore(x+5)^{2}-4(x+5)=(x+5)(x+1)$
